This is a short demo of a simple flower composition with hydrangea. This flower is easy to paint - the key is to keep the shape simple, just focusing on the overall volume of the blooms and change of color from pink at the right to green-blue to the left, where it turns into the shadow side. Small details such as petals are suggested by the brush strokes, without breaking the unity of the shape of the cluster. Enjoy.
