In this and next video I am studying the same composition - peonies, in two mediums: oil and watercolor. It is a good exercise to really understand the subject, working from dark to light (in oil) and light to dark (in watercolor).

Brava! I love learning about technique!
Hi Sasha, I wish I had training in this magical medium so I could do more than watch with endless wonderment how you turn light with imagination, color and skillful movement into such beauty.
Ironically, it seems to me that the way you "see" truth formed in light is what also allows your deep penetration to the very dark human core at the center of the Covid evil.
Yours is a profoundly spiritual practice. You leave your listeners a treasure of hope that, with courage to confront the darkness, a new mastery can be born...a way, like yours, to "see" truth formed in light.
My children are still college age. But if I live to see a grandchild born, it would be my fondest wish for her or him to be named after you, Sasha.
Thank you for learning all you needed, for suffering thru all that was required to help humanity come awake at this difficult time.
